Hi everyone, I’m Scott Cotter, owner of Encompass Fitness, located in Marlborough Massachusetts. My wife Patricia and I moved to Marlborough in August of 2006, and plan on calling Marlborough home for the rest of our lives. Living in Marlborough has been a wonderful experience for my wife and I, to raise our boys, Luke and Logan. Both of my sons recently attended Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury, but now Luke is heading off to UCONN in the Fall to focus on Biology as his major, while my youngest son Logan will be attending St. Mark’s School in Southborough, next door to Marlborough and 1.9 miles from Encompass Fitness. Living in Marlborough and being a member of Encompass Fitness Marlborough introduced me to many of our cities great residents and many members of the community I never would’ve met before. Since buying Encompass Fitness Marlborough 7 years ago, I have personally participated and competed in three fitness shows. My personal fitness coach, Mike Ciulla, has been instrumental in helping me prepare for these shows over that 7 year span. Luckily, the latest PCA US- Fitness Contest was in Marlborough Ma, and I was lucky enough to place first in a few divisions. I must say it was a proud father moment to hear, ‘And the winner of this division is Scott Cotter from Marlborough Massachusetts.’ Knowing I chose to dedicate myself to health and fitness for my family, to stay healthy and strong, and it became a way of life and opened the door to owning my own business, here in Marlborough, running a growing fitness center, to again, hearing ‘Scott Cotter from Marlborough Massachusetts has won first place’ in front of my wife and kids, is a dream come true. And to see my kids flourish and become the wonderful people they are, makes me so proud. In 2006, my wife Patricia and I made a decision to start our family in the City of Marlborough, and we couldn’t be happier. I pinch myself and say, ‘Scott Cotter, you did it’ every time I walk into Ecompass Fitness Marlborough.
